ABOUT THE WAY CHURCH

Our name, THE WAY CHURCH, comes from John 14:6 “Jesus answered, “I am THE WAY, the truth and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

​

This is a deep theological statement of salvation from Jesus. God’s plan for the human race is that we repent and be saved. Jesus is saying that He is the fulfillment of the messianic prophecy. He is what our souls crave. He is the only one who can fill the emptiness and void that exists in us. He is the only satisfaction that is guaranteed to last; everything else is temporary and will leave us hungry, thirsty, seeking and searching for more. However, when we come to Jesus, we do not have to look or search any further. He is all that we need! Following Jesus will lead us to live in eternity with God.

At THE WAY CHURCH, we believe that the only way to truly attain or achieve complete satisfaction is by following Jesus Christ. He is our provider, sustainer, keeper, and Savior. In addition, when we live out His principles and teachings, we are showing the world that Jesus is “the true way of Life”; that those who follow Him will have joy complete. We must spread the message that Jesus gives fulfilling and satisfying life.

THE WAY CHURCH is committed to intentionally presenting Jesus to people by embodying His life, His love and His service. Our commitment is to follow Jesus’ teachings, His principles, His love for God, and His love for people.

VISION STATEMENT

​

Our purpose is to present Jesus to the world by the way we live, our relationships, our service, our worship and through God’s Word. To empower those who are powerless and give voice to those who have been silenced by society, culture and oppressive systems. To nurture, cultivate and inspire our youth to become all that God has called them to be, by encouraging them to fulfill their dreams. To strengthen our families and our communities by creating space to train men, women, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, boys and girls on how to live as Christians.

New Members Classes

As a new member of The Way Church we highly recommend that you attend our weekly new members courses. Below you can download our Orientation Packet. Classes are held weekly on Saturdays at 11am.
